Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood is not, nor claims to be, a licensed day care center. As defined by the State of California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division, we are required to maintain an open door policy, which allows children to arrive and leave the facility on their own. If the parent wishes the child to remain on the premises until he / she is picked up by a designated person, the responsibility lies solely with the parent. The Club is not responsible for children leaving the facility. The Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood will not be held liable should the child leave the premises without permission.

The Club cannot care for sick children. If a member is ill, he /she MUST be picked up after contact has been made with the parent, guardian, or emergency caregiver.  If the child is ill before leaving home or he/she was not well enough to attend school, please do not bring him/her to the Club. When a child complains of discomfort, injury, or illness, we will immediately notify the parent. A child must be able to participate in program to attend the Club. A doctor’s note may be required to return to the Club, if a child was previously unable to participate.

The cost for the annual membership is a $30.00 non-refundable, non-transferable fee per year. We offer extended program hours during spring, winter and summer breaks. These dates will vary.
