Eloisa Peraza has been a member of our Club for over eleven years. She is the daughter of Mexican and Salvadoran immigrants who came to the United States in search of the American Dream.
In first grade Eloisa was diagnosed with a learning limitation that stemmed from a vision problem that could not be fully corrected. As a result, Eloisa has had an Individualized Education Program (IEP) plan from a young age. Eloisa’s persistence and resiliency has led her to our highest honor, Youth of the Year.
She will start her freshman year at the Cal State Los Angeles this fall to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts. Eloisa is planning a career in film producing and directing.
